Keshi Pearls
Keshi pearls are produced in Molluscs as a by product of the normal culturing process. Once the mollusc has produced its round pearls it is kept in the farm and rested for a period before it is used to culture another batch of round pearls. During this time it often produces very organic shaped pearls, often displaying a wide range of natural colours. Although round pearls are the most valuable the individual shapes of these Keshi pearls are now highly desirable. Cellini stocks both freshwater and saltwater Keshi pearls.
